XHD6899 Nickel-Based Alloy Welding Electrode

  • Composition5: It is a nickel-based electrode with added alloying elements such as Cr, Mo, W, and Fe.
  • Specifications1: The core wire diameters include 2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm, etc., with a typical length of 350 - 400mm.
  • Performance Characteristics5: It exhibits excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, maintaining good stability and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments.
  • Application Scope1: Suitable for welding repairs of hot forging dies, water valve seats, glass factory rollers, etc., and can also be used for welding nickel-based alloy components operating in high-temperature environments.
  • Welding Process3: This electrode offers excellent weldability with both DC and AC power sources and can be used for all-position welding. For different workpiece thicknesses and materials, appropriate welding currents should be selected. Generally, a 2.5mm diameter electrode is suitable for currents of 60 - 90A; a 3.2mm diameter electrode for 100 - 130A; and a 4.0mm diameter electrode for 130 - 170A.

  • Performance Characteristics
    • Mechanical Properties6: The weld bead has high elongation, reducing welding stress and thereby minimizing deformation and stress corrosion. Tensile strength is 440 - 500MPa, yield strength ≥290MPa, hardness HB30 is 120 - 160, with excellent resistance to hot cracking, intergranular corrosion, and stress corrosion.
    • Process Performance6: Features stable arc, minimal spatter, uniform slag coverage, easy slag removal, and good weld bead formation. It offers excellent metal strength, plasticity, toughness, and resistance to porosity.
    • Corrosion Resistance9: Demonstrates good corrosion and cavitation resistance in organic or inorganic acids or alkalis, saline water, and ultra-high-temperature steam.
    • High-Temperature Performance9: Performs excellently in high-temperature environments. The weld bead is less affected by nitrogen and carbon diffusion at high temperatures, resulting in low nitride and carbide content in the weld structure and no formation of σ phase. It maintains good mechanical properties even at 425°C.
  • Application Scope8: Primarily used for corrosion-resistant cladding and joining, especially suitable for welding and repairing metal components operating in high-temperature and corrosive environments. It can be used for welding nickel alloy materials, hard-to-weld steels, mold steels, and special steels, as well as for welding dissimilar materials (such as stainless steel, cast iron, and deoxidized steel).
